NYRR Millrose Games Trials Set for Wednesday at The ArmoryPublished by
The NYRR Millrose Games Trials will take place tomorrow night (Wednesday, January 11) at The Armory’s New Balance Track & Field Center. High school and youth participants will compete to earn qualifying berths for the February 11 110th NYRR Millrose Games. For the list of track & field events please click HERE. WHO: Some of the expected entrants include: Top female student-athletes: - Aliyah Taylor, Rancocas Valley Regional (NJ): Reigning NJ Meet of Champs winner at 55 meters - Olivia Arizin, Cardinal O'Hara (PA): 2-time 800 meter All American, 2016 NYRR Millrose Games qualifier Top male student-athletes: - Kyree Johnson, Huntington (NY): NY state runner up at 55m, current US#9 at 55 meters - Elliot Gandi, Ocean Township (NJ): NJ outdoor 1600 meter runner up. All American at 1 mile - The country’s premier 4x800m relay teams from Union Catholic (NJ), Pennsbury West (PA) and Warwick Valley (NY). WHEN: The NYRR Millrose Games Trials begin at 4 p.m. through 9 p.m. with 31 events for high school student-athletes to qualify for the famed 110th NYRR Millrose Games on Saturday, February 11 at The Armory.
